Project overview

Replication of Reis et al. (2019)

This site brings together the main rendered outputs from a direct replication of a preclinical systematic review and meta-analysis on minocycline’s antidepressant-like effects in rodents.

The project was designed to assess how far the original review could be independently reconstructed from the published record, including study identification, quantitative synthesis, and risk-of-bias assessment.

To make the outputs easier to navigate, the materials are presented as two complementary reports: one focused on the main meta-analytic results and sensitivity analyses, and another focused on comparison of SYRCLE risk-of-bias judgements between the original review and the direct replication.
